Our client, a respected nonprofit organization dedicated to housing access and community advancement, is seeking an Attorney with Residential Real Estate Transactional experience to join their team.

About the Role

In this position, you will support a mission-driven nonprofit by providing transactional legal services related to residential real estate, including counseling clients, reviewing and drafting documents, supporting community housing initiatives, and assisting with real estate-related compliance.

You will work closely with internal teams and community partners to ensure safe, fair, and accessible housing opportunities for local residents.


Key Responsibilities

  • Handle residential real estate transactional matters, including document drafting, review, and closing preparation
  • Support community housing and redevelopment initiatives
  • Advise internal departments and community partners on real estate processes
  • Assist with title matters, property transfers, and program documentation
  • Contribute to organizational compliance related to housing and real estate programs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to advance the nonprofit's mission

Qualifications

  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Active state bar license GA
  • Experience in residential real estate transactions required
  • Strong communication and client-service skills
  • Passion for community-focused and mission-driven work
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, hybrid work environment
